Can anyone please tell me if this type of design, with all of the bends, is really a performance additive? or is it mainly for looks.?
And if it's for performance, how exactly does it work, compared to any other type of header???

It is designed this way for equal-length primaries in addition to adding length to the primaries.

i understand, having equal length primaries, but how Much more length is there compared to a 4-1 equal length header? and how much more power, if any will this create compared to a normal style header? to me it seems like if anything, it would be harder to flow.

It's done like that to get the collector out from under the sump to increase ground clearance. The bends are to add length as if it was merging under the sump.

I take it that aint no merge collector????? It's only a press collector or am I seeing things....
