Default aftermarket steering wheel

Who has an aftermarket steering wheel in theur car? What type is it and do you like it? I was looking at some recently and I felt someof the sparco race steering wheels, they feel nice. Does anybody have input on this topic?

I got a Personal steering wheel on my civic. I am not sure the model name of it but they are around 320mm. Smaller than stock but not too small. I think they're as big as a EK9's MoMo steering wheel.

whichever wheel u choose imo any is better than stock... i can stand those big large wheels...
this one was in my integra... it was real nice... not too small... not too big

in my civic i also had this size wheel... it was a momo champion... then i switched to a smaller one (i forgot what it was) and now i have this one... i like the smaller ones... they block your view of the cluster a little, but its worth it,... i like the way it feels... it does take some getting used to though... damn.. i thought i had a picture of... its really small though... i think its either a 300mm or 280mm... i just like small wheels so much better

when u take out your stock steering wheel, doesn't your SRS light stay on all the time due to the lack of airbag? isn't that annoying?

Oh, luckily I don't have airbags. I have been looking at sparco steering wheels like this one in black

This one looks pretty good too.

This one looks good and it is small.

I am having trouble making up my mind, each company makes too many different steering wheels!
By the way, where is th horn in these steering wheels? Is it in the middle like stock or what, I see many that have buttons like the Mugen steering wheel, but what about the others with out those red buttons?

Is there any way to get an air bag hooked up to an aftermarket steering wheel?

You should try and find a JDM Type R steering wheel. They are made by MOMO and they still have an airbag.

no, unless thw wheel is designed for an airbag it won't fit.

the only real option you have is to go with the JDM civic typeR wheel, it looks almost identical to the JDM ITR, but it has an airbag. expect to spend some money though..

My friend has a Momo steering wheel in his G2 teg. I love that damn thing!! Every time I drive his car, I'm amazed at how responsive and light the wheel is compared to my big ol' stocky! I wanted to get a steering wheel too, but the fact that I won't have an airbag is holding me back. The CTR steering wheel looks nice, but it's about $1300!!!...eek!!!

Get a four point harness and then you wont have to worry about an airbag

umm, in that case you better have your helmet and helmet harness so that you don't snap off your neck... just a thought.

BlueG2: does you r G2 have cruise control? I'm trying to figure out how to adapt the buttons to a Momo wheel. Iknow, I'm like a wussy racer type.

My car does have cruise control, I was thinking of placing a buttons elsewhere if I kept it. Not sure where though, maybe by my e brake. I dunno, I rarely use cruise control because most of the time I am driving there is traffic.

3 2nd generations in a row YESSSSS!

just a little bit of info........air bags are intended for use in CONJUCTION with seat belts. an air bag alone will not save your life in a crash. if you use your seat belt when you drive, i personally believe, you don't need an airbag. . . . . . .

It's more the insurance then anything else, during the school year things can get tight.

I was just going through the pictures section at the s2ki forums and saw a picture of the s2k steering wheels...
http://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthrea...threadid=23103

it has cruise on it, and an airbag, I will be going to my local honda dealer this weekend to find out about pricing and possible fitment! I will let you know how it goes.
