Think I may have blown bearing pack.........

Title says all..... This guy told me i may have blown bearing pack. I have a T3/T4 OE Garret. Is there a way to know for sure? Thanks.

check for shaft play and also see if the turbo spin freely <<<<is that a word?

dunno bout shaft play tho
