Default b16 install on an EG hatch Qs

ok guys, first of, hope y'all doin good,

ok, i got an EG hatchback 94' model,
down here in the philippines, all EG hatchs come in carbed 1200cc engines

im getting a b16A it'l be coming with a tranny, axles, ecu and harness

i was wondering, once we get the engine dropped in( installed)
since the engine is coming with the harness and ecu
how hard will it be to hook up its electronics?
will i get away with just connecting the engine-to> harness-to> ecu
? what other stufs will i need? and should i research on?
sorry for being such a newbie

tnx for baring with me

peace!

Damn. That sucks. You should be able to just "plug and play" the wiring into the ECU without any issues.

oh really?? holy sh!*
didnt know i was that lucky;

the engines we get here from japan, comes with ecu and harness already,

maybe the suppliers havnt thought about them harness and ecu could be used as profit if the sell it separate, heck i hope they dont do that,,

any ways, hope some other peepz here could confirm this? if i get the engine and it comes with the harness and ecu, will it just be plug and play? cuz my hatch is carburetted, so ther aint no harness in it wats so ever,

once again, thanx so much guys!
yet another valueable input

Well, you will need the harness that runs from the shock tower into the cabin to the ECU as well. I am pretty sure your swap won't include this.

It depends on what year car this B16 is out of.

What ECU is currently in the car? Do you know where to find the code?

ok, the harness from the shocktower into the cabin to the ecu... i dont think i have this, since the hatch is a carbed type,
wer can i get this? d'you know any info regarding this? or maybe a pic?
could this be fabricated?
cuz, all i know is that the b16 that im gettin comes with the harness and ecu,
if the engine comes with the harness and ecu, what other harness is needed? im a little confused,
tnx hyrbid93eg for them inputs

You would need to find someone who is parting out thier car and get the cabin ECU harness. This will depend on the year of the engine and ECU that you are getting as mentioned above.

i see,
ok now i get it, tnx man!

but, isnt that hard to find? looking for sum1 parting with their car?

oh well... il just have to work on it, tnx

reason for all this questions is that,
im planning to do my own install of the engine,
since ive got all the info i need here at H-T
i rem, sum posts with a complete list and what to do on the installation of the engine,
so i was wondering if its possible to install the electricals of the engine on my own,

if not, id proly just take it to a shop and have them do it,

but, there aint nuthin wrong in givin it a shot

tnx again man!

Not too sure about the hatches over there, but 92-95 hatches here in the states are easy as hell to swap. You shouldn't have any issues.
