Default trans

puting new motor in 92 civic and some of the tran fluid leaked out.where do i fill the trans and how do i know how much fluid to put in and what kind of fluid do i use this an manual trans

on the passenger side of the tranny you will see two access plugs one's at the bottom to drain the fluid and the other's about 4 inches above that. ( i suggest draining it all and replacing it) any way open the top plug and fill the tranny untill it starts to seep out of the plug hole. You will get alot of different answers concerning what kind of oil to use but most people use 10w-30 motor oil. I run straight 40 valvoline racing.

O.K. On the tranny there should be a bolt midway up the tranny. This is your filling spot for your Honda Manuel Transmission Fluid, or 30 weight oil. When the fluid overflows out this hole it full. Put the bolt back in. Presto.
