Default How do i put a ram intake on

Hey,
Whats going on? I just bought a cool ram air intake and I am wonderin how to put it on a 2001 honda accord v6 vTEC? Thanks

vtech is a phone

there's no suck thing as cool ram intake

you talking about cool air intake or short ram?

for CAI you need to take out the bumper and takeout the resonator box, air horn, air cleaner, intake tube and the hose that goes to it.

Hey, sorry i i go in this web site alot for qustions some times i spell vtec vtech becuase of the web site name. I am talking about the short ram air intake i am not ready for CAI yet

Unclamp, and remove stock airbox. Pop in the short ram intake, and clamp it back up. Done.

yeah, but it will be better if you remove the lower chamber too, more air, much cooler air to begin with.

were do i put the tube that connects to the ram air go to? Does it go were the old tube went off of the air filter? I know that is a stupid qustion but i just want to make sure

Go to lighteningmotorsports.com they have pics of how to put on the aem cai but the first 8 pics you can use to put on your intake.

the cai goes ol the way down to the wheel well of the car further from the hot engine.= cooler air = better combustion
