Default Sway Bars

Hmm I have an accord 90's EX sedan and it doesn’t have a rear sway bar but the front came with one. Can I just get the rear bar and not upgrade the front or will I have major oversteer problems?

IMO, oversteer on FF is bad, once the rear gains traction it’ll snap the car in the other direction. (when the floor is wet.)

are you sure it doesn't have a rear sway bar, i believe all 90-97 EX had rear sway bars.

anyways those of us with EXs get just the rear bar since our front bar is (5th gen)27.2mm not sure what yours but it may be the same, and we will have some oversteer. i think if you have an LX which has like a 25mm bar you would want both since woud probably oversteer badly.

there are plenty of people that put rear bars in and do not touch the front ones however if you really wanted to, you could swap out the front bar as well........

Well what ive heard is that the 90-97 Ex's came with front and rear sways. But to answer your question... yea, u can just purchase the rear sway bar. The front should be sufficient, but of course the ST sway bar kit would work better. Got mine for my 92 accord lx. Best mod i did imo. you can actually feel the diffference instantly after u have them installed.
