Hi

I have a problem with my high mount rear brake light. I dont know when or how it stopped working. I bought new bulb but that didn't help.

The rear brake lights are still in working order. I checked the wires with a multimeter and no reading is recorded.

Can anybody give me some help on this issue? I thought the high mount brake light is connected to the rear brake light but i guess not.

Blown fuse?? cable damaged perhaps?

the first thing i wound do is check the fuse, you said you already had the bulb replaced so start from there.

 

thanks i'll check first thing tomorrow morning.
Wouldn't want to chase the cable all the way through the front of the car.

 

what year accord do you have most high mount lights connect to the driver side brake light if that works then your problem is somewhere from there to the light i don't know of any accord that has a separate fuse for the mid light

 

sorry i left out the year and model.
Its a Oct/1993 VTI model.
Both rear brake lights are still working fine.

I might have to rip out all the seats and chase it back to the front. Should've check when i installed the amplifier kit.
