Default trans internals swap?

which internals are lighter, stonger, and higher gear ratio? 88 CRX Si trans or the 92-95 Del Sol Si Trans

and next, is it possible to take the internals from the hydraulic manual trans and put them in the crx trans? would it be worth it? am i an idiot?

Default Re: trans internals swap? (JuJuBean)

well i have worked on D series cable trannies only

i can tell u that the only actual "weak" internals on the Si tranny its the select forks since they are made of aluminum , and the diff pin bc it gets worn out... put a quaife oir some LSD and u will make the tranny a lil stronger...

as far as wich one its better,,,,, MISTA BONE will be able to tell u more about it.... hes the real tranny guru
