lost first and third completely, second and fourth kind of lost, pulled the tranny off, clutch sprin
Just as the title says, I was driving last night, stopped the car, and when I get back in, try to put in first, and it was like hitting a brick wall, same with all gears at that time, then I turned the car off, dry shifted into all gears. Let the car sit for a minute or two, then started it back up, nogears, turn it off, start it in first, and it seems to bog, give it gas, release the clutch and once it gets moving first feels normal, throw in the cluthc to shift into second, it is a little resistant coming out of gear, then it wont go in second, try again and it grinds its way in, after that, no third, brick wall, then with the clutch still in to try for third with no success,
I try for fourth, it slides in, fifth seems to slide in also, both with a little resistance.
Drove the car home using second and fourth and fifth, took the tranny off today, and the clutch looks normal, all the springs are still in the disk, and the pressure plate looks like it has about ten thousand miles on it, which it does.
No gear access, can dry shift, clutch looks normal..
Anyone got any ideas?

Sounds like a bad master/slave cylinder if your tranny is hydraulic. If its cable, try playing with the adjuster.
Try adjusting the clutch. Adjust the pedal too. Could also be the linkage or the tranny itself could be messed up.
Asuming you already tried adjusted your clutch, before you took tranny out. It sounds like syncros. Before you changed clutch did you have any of these problems?
Blake what's up....this similar thing happened to me and it turned out to be the shifting mechanism inside the tranny. sux you have to split the cases to find out but just giving my $.02
