OK i have a few stamped codes and numebrs on my cable b series tranny and i have a gold sticker....Will any of these help you guys help me identify my tranny??. IF so tell me which ones and ill post them.

It should say on the tag on there. J1, S1, Y1, or YS1

No. There is only one real way to tell if you have LSD or not and that is looking through the axel hole thing. If you see a bar you dont have LSD. If you can see straight through with nothing in the way you do.

 

OK ill ahve to check the lookign through the hole thing, so if threre is a bar , no LSD, adn if ther is no bar i ahve LSD ok .

Well i checked the code adn on the gold sticker ist says S1 then a bunch of numbers.....

 

The Gold sticker just has the trany code on it. If it is LSD it will be stamped on the top side of the tranny usually right under the distributer. However this does'nt mean much because any one can stamp a tranny with "LSD" The only way to really tell is to do what Bryant or if the tranny is alread in the car jack it up and spin one wheel the other should spin with it.
