I have a sony xplod cd player, and it will work fine, then all the sudden it will shut off (no power, go black), or beep like the engine is off. I have looked at the wiring, and it checks out. I also sent the cd player in to sony like 2 times with no success. When it goes black on me my climate control wont work either. Any suggestions? Its the car in my sig. Thanks, Ryan

PS, I posted in the audio fourm too, but it is crx related, because my climate control will go out when my CD acts up.

PPS, are the climate control, and cd player connected electrically in any way?

 

have you ever had the under dash wiring harness out of the car...or is it cut into and modified in any way?

 

I have never tampered with it, and the orig. owner didnt even have a aftermarket stereo in there. So I think it has never been tampered with. I noticed this only after I installed the cd player. I installed it myself, then sony said I needed a profesh install, so I got one, and still the same ****. Ryan
