i'm putting a b16a2 into my 92 hatch. Do I need to purchase anything else for it to fit because when we tried to put it in today it was no where near fitting. any help will be greatly appreciated.

you just need a 99-00 si rear mount or a gsr rear mount. i like the gsr better cuz the engine sits slightly lower

 

so i need both motor mounts from a 99-00 civic si or from a 94-01 gsr?

can the b16a side mounts come from the 99 civic si also? The b16a2 I purchased is out of a 92 civic sir so I just want to get everything straight before I start purchasing mounts.

first of all there is not b16a2 in 92 civic sir. second. teh mounts u will need are 92 civic rear crosmember mount with 94-2000 gsr rear mount bracket. 94-2000 gsr timingbelt side mount. and gsr tranny mount. thats what i used for sure. now there are people on hee that like to mix and match civic mounts with gsr mounts. they all have their different reasons such as "if it works why not" or they dont have enough money to get all new mounts. never the less the best bet and for sure route is to get allt eh correcrt mounts u need from the gsr. dont mix and m,atch then u will be asking questions again tommorrow about how they fit or something.

 

is the 92 civic rear crossmember mount stock on my civic? instead of it being gsr mounts can i get the 99 civic si mounts? and the motor came stock out of either a 92-95 civic.
