I have a J1 tranny...which has the same gear ratios as a ITR, but I was wondering wear can I get aftermarket gears for a cable tranny. Is thier a mix and match of gears i can use from existing cable trannies to get a better gear ration? Will aftermarket hydro gears work in a cable tranny? This is for an allmotor drag car. I would like to have a shorter gear ratios.

 

92+ trannys are the same.
the pre-92 1gen stuff is completely different
