well, as an experienced integ owner, i always knew it could've happened. this morning sometime between 3 and 8am my teg was stolen. no witnesses, no signs or evidence.

i always knew it could happen, but this sucks. in hawaii, chances are within 2-3 hours of having your car jacked, it's prolly stripped to the shell. so i'm more than likely never goint to see my baby again.

just thought i'd share. time to start thinking about a new ride. maybe a wrx. we'll see.

my brothers car was stolen last week too, sorry to hear that tho...hope you find it even tho it probly is all parts by now. look on the bright sidetho, you live in Hawaii

 

damn thieves. i don't kno how u feel, my car was was broken into not to long ago. they stole about $3000 worth of stuff. i hope that u find ur ride. or at least catch the guy.

it happened on pahoa ave. in kahala, right behind kahala mall. i had an alarm, that's it. kinda regret not having the club, thought we all know it's just for intimidation.

sorry to hear that man, well i got my car broken into about a month ago at 2 in the afternoon in front of a busy shop. alarm went off and had some filipino kid in my car. Car was jus damaged guy took off running.bastard. Jus got my car back and guess what the state calls me and threatens to take away my car, scrape my recon and cite me(full of crap). This happened in Kalihi in front of Sums general repair.

 

God damn, ******* thieves are always on our asses.

cracked windshield
smashed ignition (just fixed a month ago)
deck missing
intake missing
front seats missing
new balance shoes missing

according to some friends, it's going to be considered totalled.

I dunno man, thats not even that much $ in repairs.

windshield = 150-200
ignition = not sure but who cares, can't be that much
deck = get a new one
intake = get a new one
front seats = time for an R interior or some recaro's
new balance shoes = by some nike's

 

yeah thats not gonna be considered a total loss at all...that wut happened to my car when it was stolen....

 

ignition runs around 250~280 fromd dealers...includes everything to replace anything operated by the key.

I'm not too sure if it'll be totalled. Pair of front seats are really really expensive from the insurance people's view. Good luck.

At least they found your car, it still sucks that stuff was vandalized and some of your stuff was stolen. good luck fixing what they damaged

 

to avoid the damage amount being high, convince your insurance company that you can get new front seats for yourself for much cheaper, but either way i don't think it will be totalled. maybe salvage because of theft recovery though.

 

Look at this way, you still live in Hawaii.

yuuuuups. haha

anyway, i spoke with my insurance rep this morning. it is going to be considered a total loss. seats run about $2000 a piece from the factory or something insane like that.

still debating about what i wanna do. keep the car and swap into a hatch or something or give em the car, pay it off and buy something else.

 

have the isurance total out the car , then buy it back from them should be cheap 2-3,000 to buy it back , you can find replacement seats on ebay or here for like 300-600, igigition is going to 200 and cd player is 200 or less and get another intake , for around 1-1500 your car will be fixed and no one will never know the diffrence just hopefully they dont salvage the title good luck

Hawaii has strict laws against mods. In order to legally do things to our cars they need to pass reconstruction laws. The state was prolly tryin' to squeeze all the money they could outta the poor guy.

should be pretty easy . the seats , deck are no issue and the ignition is no big deal put your stock air box on you will be fine
