You can be ghetto and try a zip tie and/or duct tape until you can get another grommet.

your stock tube has the grommet in it. Take it out and put it in your aem.

well, i tried searching for it in the grass and around the other bolts, but to no avail. think aem will send me another one? anyone have an extra one laying around somewhere they would send to me?

the stock intake tube does not have the grommet, its molded into the intake tube.

It's not molded in...the grommet is rubber and the tube is plastic. Try peeling up the edge to make sure. If it IS somehow molded in, go to honda on monday morning and get the grommet for the IAT sensor from the CX D16y7. I know there's one on there at least.

Mine did...

I'm making 2 assumptions: that the iat sensors are the same on the cx/dx (mine's a 00 cx), and that the holes in the aem are the same (I have a short ram)

But it's logical to assume that it'll work, and the grommet probably costs a whole buck.

You can also go to walmart and buy gromets in the electrical section. They are available in different sizes...im sure you can find one that will suit your needs

when i ordered my aem intake they forgot to send the second grommet as is the case with ur intake. ur best bet is to call up and bitch that they forgot the part and u should get one free of charge thats how i did it.

my injen didn't come with a grommet either, and with a grommet on there it won't fit, so i just used electrical tape.

Suck it up and slice a piece off the stock tube and jam it in the hole.....that should do the trick.

</TD></TR></TABLE>

first of all this intake pipe in the pis he has doesnt even have the second hole for the intkae temp sensor. theres only one hose nipple on there and thats for the valve cover line its liek he has the wrong year intake for his car. unless the hole is hidden in the shadow in the pic. i cant see where he would put the sensor grommet or no grommet.
