yes it's worth it, you'll get more power, better gas milage, and better throttle response if the injectors were clogged.
You can put in the Chevron Techron stuff, but that is more maintainence than actually cleaning them good. You can get them professionally cleaned for about 60 bucks i think.

"The charge for RC Engineering's standard clean-flow-balance service is $24.00 per injector. If overnight shipping is used, the turnaround time is three days. "

i've been told this is good for cars older than five years (but i would think it depends more on mileage, say 75K+). i'm seriously considering this for next week but i've been told they're sometimes backed up and it takes longer.

Default Try This!

Injector Cleaning

The least expensive method I have utilized for cleaning injectors is to go to your
local drug store and pick up a dental ultrasonic cleaner under $30.00. Then go to
Chevron and purchase a bottle of Techrolene (SP). Fill the ultrasonic cleaner with
the solvent to a level that will only submerge the tips of the injectors. Then take
a tuna can and punch four holes in it to stand your injectors in. Place the can
holding the injectors in the bottom of the ultrasonic cleaner; do not submerge the
electrical connections. You can pulse the injectors by connecting the injector’s
electrical connection to a 12-volt DC power source and cycling the power on and off.
Cleaning time 15min. If you need more details let me know!
