I live in Chicago, and the winter isn't cool with cars and stuff. Now, what type of size for steelies should i look out for to slap 'em on the 5th gen. prelude for winter driving, w/o forcing any suspension problems and gas mileage problems this may bring?
Thanks again.

i would but the rubber on the ones i will get are practically new and expensive... any more suggestions? Thanks again.
get some 14" blizzax (bridgestone, maybe???). 195's. The thinner tire tracks better in the snow. but don't drive 'em at all when it warms up. You'll chew through the sticky in three months (with easy driving).
But they're great. Even stops well on ice.

i have a set(4) of blizzak LM-22 205/50 16 i bought them when i was going to drive my car in the winter but then i decided to keep my accord so i have no real use for them. they have 99% tread left. let me know if you're interested.
I'm in chicago as well. Just take your stocks rims and run winter tires on them. I use Acrtic Alpines on my stocks for the winter and use Racing Harts with Summer tires in the summer. You get the best of both worlds.
