clutch problems.....need help

Default clutch problems.....need help

just finished the b16 swap. the car will go into gears when the car is off. but when u start the car it wont go into gears... the clutch feels so soft, the lever on the transmission feels as if its not pushing the bearing out or something, anyone have any ideas or had this happen to them, thanks

go and adjust ur clutch cable
that sounds to be the problem

pull the arm of the tranny with one hand (where the clutch cable goes to).... until it stops...
then turn the lil nut thingy on the cable,,,, clockwise til it stops.,.. dont tighten it too much.... that way it holds the arm of the tranny right where it is...
if u dont know waht i mean
have someone else do it, or AIM me i can take a quick pic 4 u so u get the idea

yea ive done that, feels like nothing there still, someone told me it was a bad pressure plate

recheck the cable adjustment

it can also be a trow out bearing being installed wrong....

or a bad pressure plate also, but thats the last case...

Hold up the shift arm on the tranny and adjust it as tight as it can go. If you still get nothing then it looks like you need to rip the tranny off and make sure that release bearing spring was put in right. Be sure after you do that to loosen up the clutch cable some.
