Default Road Racing Newbie

I was invited to go to the track and take some lessons, but im afraid that my car wont be good enough for it. All they said was to make sure you have clean brake fluid and good brake pads.. the problem is my ITR is turbo charged and might dyno around the 400-500whp range. With all that HP, will i still be good on the road track?

Thanks.

Curious, are you saying that you have a 400-500whp (has it actually been dynoed at that?) R, and you haven't addressed the brakes?

It doesn't matter if your car pushes 100HP or 1,000HP, it's your right foot that decides how fast you're going. Take it easy your first few times and forget about all the extra power you have.
