JDM headlights, will not fit in my 92eg with h22 motor. help

JDM headlights, will not fit in my 92eg with h22 motor. help
Please help, my jdm headlights for the eg would not fit because of the alternator hitting it. the jdm headlights have a bigger backing. the right fits perfectly and so does the right except for the alternator being in the way. Help!
