okay on my forums I have a new photoshop contest going on...

there is a chair in the backgroung of each picture. Need to crop that out.

ya, i know...like i said there is a lot more work to be done. I just think it's a good idea to start though. I want more people to come and do this contest so come check it out at Photoshop and More http://www.travisharrell.com/forum

whats next? integra fronts on civics? oh wait.. some ricers have already done this on me. What was i thinking?!

good work on the chop, but it looks weird.

I just made one of my friends a mod and he decided on that pic. He figured it would be tougher due to the car show background and stuff. I tend to agree but it's good quality pic regardless.

As far as replying in my forum because you weren't a member goes:
I have now changed the permissions for the photoshop contest section and anonymous users can reply. But the rest will require membership.

If you guys want more time than 2 weeks or so, let me know but i think it should be enough. Don't forget to grab the full size image!

I know...
But what you call Accord isnt even available here in europe.
We have no Acura...we have no US Accord...but what we have is the new CTR.

very carefully I erase the window area on the car layer. You then see the background through it. Then it's as simple as creating a new layer over that that looks realistic. Sometimes I simply change the lighting, other times I actually paste shadows or reflections. I just eyeball it until I like it.

how do you guys make lights or shades in photoshop? ive been trying to look all over photoshop and couldnt find out how to do it.
