I installed my new Dashpot today. I noticed that when the hoses are hooked up it is not pushing the rotor, yet when I unplug the line to it it goes and presses on the rotor. I was wondering if the idle screw had anything to do with making the dashpot work or not? My theory was maybe that screw vents more air so there is less vacuum or something so my dashpot works.
