Default Finished 2nd swap (Tech question)

Well I finished up my 2nd engine swap (same engine both times) last night around 6am. It runs about the same as it did in my last hatch, but there is a slight sputter when I am at partial throttle. Starting off, engaging the clutch, etc.. is all fine, but if I slowly accelerate from a low rpm to a mid rpm it will either not respond immediately or kinda jerk slightly.

Anyone have a clue what this could be?

Btw - This is a 95 b18c1 (US Spec) out of my old 94 Gay ***** teal hatch and now in my 92 DX.

Nope, I originally had CEL #42 but I fixed it already. I've driven it about 50 or so miles and have no had another CEL but the sputtering continues.

btw- Radiohead rocks

How's the fuel filter etc...I'd check into things like that if the car has high miles on it

if you have a multimeter i would check your TPS(throttle position sensor) . I had a similiar problem but only at WOT.

I will definetely check the fuel filter because the car does have 230k miles on it, maybe more.

Anyone could re-direct me to a link that tells about what 3 or 4 wires I need to run in my hatch. I need to know where they go from the harness to the ecu. I got a EG VX and dropping a b18c1 into her. Sorry to bomb on ur thread but I need to know I don't feel like throwing cel lights.

Its ok. You actually only have to run one wire (there are 2 others that you CAN run be it is not at all necessary). The one wire that you do need to run is the knock sensor wire. It goes to D4 on the ECU from the passengers side engine harness. It should be on 1 of the 2 larger plugs. One of those plugs only has one empty spot, that is where the wire should be ran.
