Default vtec help

i just took out my d15 non vtec out of my 92 civic hatch. I need help (step-by-step) hooking up the vtec. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You have a non vtec engine remember?
What vtec are we gonna hook up?
Or, did you go to the auto-parts store and grab a vtec?

very easy. all 92 civic hatches are pre-wired for vtec. just drop-in a D16Z6, B16A, B18C5 or whatever, and plug in the harness. these listed swaps are plug-in affairs. other swaps will need some stuff. just look for an OBD I (92-95) swap with the same components. if you get something such as a gs-r swap, you'll need to wire up the secondary butterfly valves in the intake manifold.
also, for future reference, be more specific next time with your questions, and try searching for your information. it takes a lot more than yanking out a little 70 hp engine to get vtec.
