Stick w/ the 94-95... the 93 is a G2 and very hard to find, and the motors are pretty tough to find if anything goes wrong.

what do you want to do w/ the car, longterm?

ITR shocks/springs/rear sway, some 15" rotas would be a good, cheap start.

You dont want to add a 'chip' to the car.

Your best bet is a hondata system. That way you can have the car tuned on a dyno maximize power and fuel curves no matter what modifications you've made.

The best exhaust systems are SMS - search for topics created by user "SMSP" for more info. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Anything above 94. Finding parts especially 93 & below is a pain. Not exactly pain but you're limited especially with new parts that are being developed. I have 93 4-dr LS and it's a pain in a butt if I want to upgrade something.

dont start thinking about the turbo until you get your car, have enough funds to keep it operating, and have a good understanding of how evyerthing works under your hood, becasue you will be spending alot of time under there.

There was a '92 B17 powered GS-R, as well.
Virtually identical to the '93 GS-R.
One side benefit to the 92-93 GS-R's, they were the only USDM
OBD1 hondas that came with DOHC VTEC, and a cable trans.
And they are scarce.
Although, most people don't see those as benefits.
The 94+ GS-R's are all hydro trans.
Just, thought I add my .02 cents.

get a 94+ gsr and save the rarer 92-93 ones for the people who actually know the difference in generations of integras

good luck with the search

I/H/E is not the first thing you should get. After you purchase the vehicle, have it tuned up (ex. cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filter oil change, spark plugs/spark plug wires). After that is done, if you are interested in racing at all ( which from judging by your name, you are), upgrade your tires to something stickier like falkens or kumhos or if you have the money, Potenzas . and THEN, you can start to look intake, header, exhaust and all of that other stuff.
