Default Buying a prelude tomorrow or monday...

things to look for when buying used, common problems or something is useful for me. Which is better, Sh or base stick or auto-stick? Let me know, and the sooner the better. By the way, i am only going to mod the engine with JRSC soon, but i have to first get the car.
Thanks for your recommendations. If this has been asked before redirect me. I searched but nothing useful.

Thanks again.

i am assuming 5 gen right? I would go with 5 speed base if your planning on doing engine mods or JRSC.

yes it is a 5th generation. So base is good, what if i end up getting an auto-stick? Would it be ok if i put a JRSC?
Thanks.

Yeah it will work with auto, but the auto will give out at some point. I would do a 5 speed.. Less head aches

it depends on what you want to do. drag racing or auto x'ing?

drag racing = base

auto x = type sh

get a 5spd, auto-stick (SS) is slow,er and the tranny won't last long when sport shifting with the mAd tIpTroNiC skiLLz.

DO NOT get an automatic prelude unless your'e not gonne race...im assuming you are because your'e puttng a jrsc on. get a base 5-speed. you'll love it, and you'll regret ever getting an auto. trust me, dont to it.
