The 88 tranny has 21 splines, and the 89 up CRX's, Civics, and Del sol's have 20 splines. Everything else should bolt up though, if you were interested in using them.... Sorry man. !st gen Teg tranny's have 21 splines, but I think they have different motor mounts. You may check that out.

It will all work just make sure that you have a clutch that corisponds with the tranny so in your situation you would need an 88 clutch and flywheel.

OK he originally posted this: <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by alky350 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Will the tranny, shift linkage, pedal assembly, and axles from a 1988 crx si fit a 1989 civic hb automatic?</TD></TR></TABLE>
If he is taking the tranny, shift linkage, pedal assembly, and axles from an 88 CRX Si and putting them into an 89 Civic HB automatic. He is obviously wanting to do and auto to manual conversion.
