I got my drivers front wheel bearing replaced on Monday. When i got home while i was taking a right hand turn i heard a grinding noise. I got out of my car and looked at the same wheel that had the bearing replaced. I noticed that the outside of my rotor was severly scratched. I jacked the car up and moved the wheel back and forth to test to see if there was any play in the bearing still like there was before the bearing was replaced. THere was about the same amount of play as before. I took the caliper and bracket off and than re-installed hoping i would stop the grinding of the rotor, it didn't and i tried it again with the same result. I have no idea what to do please give me some input and sorry about the length.

 

take it back to the shop and have them look at it.
