I have owned 2 Integras and both have battery that went bad weeks after the guarantee expires.
Does Honda do this on purpose ? hehe......

not sure about that but i wouldnt doubt it. My original lasted 90K miles.

 

Mines acting weird lately. The indicator read low water so I filled it. Then it read, needs charging, which I did. The indicator still says it needs chargine despite the fact that electrical measurements check out...

 

Does it show red and blue at the tip of the indicator>?

 

Mine did the same as Uber's did. The indicator showed that it needed water, so I added water, then it said it needed a charge, which I did, but it didn't change, so I ended up replacing the battery. I already had 4 1/2 years on it anyway so I figured it would be going soon anyway.

 

Show's white. The weird thing is that it seems to hold the charge (i.e. when I test the voltage its fine with and without the alternator running).

 

my experience with batteries on all honda's is about 3 years of life.

 

mine only last 1-2 yrs for some unknown reason.
if i leave it for 3 days it won't start (in winter).
it's not the alarm draining it, i've tested that.
maybe it's because i did a lot of wiring myself (full stereo, lights X 3, etc.)

 

Mine lasted around 95k miles.

 

Mine lasted for only 52k miles. a little over 3 years.

 

Okay, mines at 55k. What did you guys replace it with? (Brand)

 

mine's original.........6 going on 7 years old........

 

Same here, just went over 5 years, I believe it's also the maintenance free type.

I think I'm going to let it go until it dies just to see how long it would last.

 

I had mine go 115,000 miles in 7 years
