Correct way to primer urethane?
First off i know , i know this should be in cosmetics, i already put it in there, reason im asking you guys is cuz lots of you have urethan kits and maybe you saw how they painted your cars and i know a lot of you guys know alolt about bodywork. sheesh
Ok, what is the correct way to shoot the base coat on urethane? i know urethane tends to flex and move and its kinda greasy a little. ive heard its a pain in the a** to paint. so i was wondering what is the best way to tackle the base coat? i dont want my paint to flake off.

Actually i was probably gonna be using spray paint, but let me also ask you guys this, a friend of mines gave me this tip and i just wanted to see if it would work.
first sand with a rough grit
shoot base
wet sand with rough grit
shoot base
west sand with lighter grit
shoot base
then continue as many times as possible to get nice thick coat? will this work? can i primer with spray paints?

priming with can primer is not gonna be thick enough.....but if you get ahold of a spray gun, i suggest you do it like this:
1 wetsand with 400 grit or scuff with red scotch brite pad
2 then shoot the primer
3 then wet sand again 400 or 600 grit then your ready to shoot color
