after going through all the trouble of finding pipes to fit the shorter exhaust, welding O2 bungs onto the high-flow cat, and a whole week worth of worrying, i have finally completed the installation of my friend's old 2001 type-r exhaust onto my '96 gsr (he gave me the whole catback for $50)...it has the perfect sound (about as loud as stock, but a little deeper) and it does seemingly increase performance as well, no check engine light for messing with the O2 sensors either! this thing is

i wish i could, but i lack a digital camera and scanner, do any of you have an ITR exhaust on your gsr's? i'm just wondering how it's worked out for you peeps

this exhaust is 2.25" all the way through right?

i'm thinking about getting a jdm ITR header and full catback when my setup is tired.

 

There are bottlenecks at the ends of the b-pipe.
