Default Turbo from a Volvo

I have a turbo from a 1988 Volvo 760. It's a Garrette T3 + tic will this work on a DIY turbo for the F22A?

sure, but it will need to work much harder to get up to speed.

like bigger turbo will push out more air at lower rpm while small turbo have to work at higher psi to push out the same amount of pressure.

you prolly be better off with a t3t04, they are not very expensive.
maybe use the t3 if it's in bling bling perfect condition

I would be shocked if a turbo that old would actually work. Just get a T25, or T3/T4. The T25 would be cheaper. You can probably find one in a junkyard for very cheap. Got to take it from a 1G, or 2G Turbo DSM. And if you are concerned with power gains, the T3/T4 will give you more power than the T25.

http://board.hondasociety.com/...mitsu This might help. TeamElusive has a custom turbo setup in his JDM F22B. Not too familiar with the similarities between the F22A, and F22B.

I wouldn't go for a T25, because they are too small to work very efficiently with our engine. The 1G turbo is the 14b (or g, I can't remember). That one would be better, but is still really small for our engine. A T3/T4 would be your best bet.
