i have a 98 ITR and the p73 ecu got stolen i just want to know would a 98 integra gsr P72 ecu work? please let me know asap. thanks

 

It would run the car, but the timing and fuel curves are all off. You need a P73

 

VTEC at 4400 y0!

 

wont there be some kinda conflicts with the ECU/distributor/key and you wont be able to start the car?

 

He has a 98, not ignition lock on that ECU

Get a immobilizer bypass unit from your local alarm dealer (Used when you have remote start) this will solve your problem. Then get a Clifford alarm system with wireless dual immobilizers and you solve your problem. Or Can't you just get a KEY programmed to the New ECU?

You are going to be fine...nothing is going to happend to the motor. The only thing is that you can't rave the motor pass 8000rpm that is going to be your redline.. Canuck-mx6 his is right for timing and fuel curevs but not that much because ob2 ECUS CONTROL ALL THE FUEL AND TIMING FOR SMOG REGULATION TO THE WAY SHOULD BE.
