Ive been wanting to put a shift light in my lude, I have a 5" tach with shift ligh, which I hate, so I was planning on hooking up the tach and stuff, and putting the shift light in a discrete location that is not too visible from the exterior, and just tuvking the tach behind the radio cuz I'll just use the shift light and/or the factory dash tach, Anyone care to share Ideas/pics of where yours is mounted?

 

doesnt your car have a stock tac? Why would you need another one?

 

Did you not read the part where I said I hated the 5" tach? I just want to hook it up and tuck it behind somewhere where it cant be seen so that I can use the shift light alone...you might ask why not just buy a shiftlight alone, the reason is because I already have a 5" tach with shiftlight, if someones willing to buy it or trade it for a shiftlight alone, ok, but until then, I wanted ideas where to mount my shiftlight

 

try to mount it inside the gauge cluster , rip off the stock one...and place the 5" in there with the lite.....

 

I also thought you said you hated your shift light.. I hate tach's as well! But a shift light could be handy.. Do not rip your stock system out.. I would just try on the steering colomn somewhere..
