Hey everyone, I'm getting a f22b DOHC jdm motor put in my prelude soon, but was wondering if the after market parts for h23 or h22 compatable with that motor? And also is it possible to put the h22 vtec head on that motor and get some power gains?

 

putting an h22 head on that motor will cost more than just getting a fully working and reliable h22...

 

whats up man. I ahve the f22b dohc engine in my 92 lude. You use all the same parts as an h23 does. Took me a while to figure that out but after much research i finally did. Good luck with the swap.

So if I were going to turbo it, I would have to get an h23 mani, instead of the f22, and how bout the internals are they the same?

 

The people that i bought my engine from said everything is the same as an h23 except for one thing and im pretty sure that was the water pump.

 

hey also when you did your swap did you have any trouble with the timming belt or water pump, and could you use the h23's timming belt on the f22b. But if not, where could i get these parts cause i need them asap!

 

you can use all thsoe parts from an h23 and you can find them all at your local autozone
