#$%!ing fuel filter!!
ive been trying to replace my fuel filter for the past 2 hours. the fitting on the bottom of the filter going into it is so rusted that when im trying to get it off im actually stripping it. ive tried everything including spraying WD-40 onto it and it still wont come off. what am i doing wrong?!?!
You're dOOmed....just playin. Get a set of locking plyers and torgue that bitch. Use some silicone spray and you should be good. Don't over torque it or it my break. Then you can look forward to buying a new fuel line.
tried the locking plier's, theres no room for them in there, the only thing i can fit is the 14mm open ended wrench which barely has enough room to get in there and turn. i thought the 14mm was too large and that may be why i was stripping it, but i tried 13mm and it wouldnt even fit.
