how much do Type S engines g for ? . . . lets say 60k miles and under ?

i would believe they would sell you a brand new motor to you. i believe you would get a k20a2 i think thats the type s motor i dont remember but ya it would cost you an arm and a leg. your better off goin to ebay or a jdm website and buying a used k20a type r motor for around 6000 with a lsd tranny

The K20A2s have been going for between 3500 and 4500, depending on what's there (subframe, axles, harness, etc...) and miles. The K20A (Type R) are running around 6000-6500.
I would imagine you could buy a whole Type S engine (I don't think I even want to know what it would cost), but I don't think the dealer will want to mess with a JDM engine.
