the problem began on my drive back from barona. That place is very dusty so i think maybe my engine sucked up a lot of dust (no filter ). Whenever i am below 4000rpm, my car feels like it is hesitating/shaking or like it is hitting a fuel cut. i have absolutely no power. My engine also started to knock a lot so i retarded my timing all the way, but it still knocks. I thought maybe it could have been a clogged catalytic converter but today i ran open downpipe and the hesitation was still there. I also put on a new air and fuel filter but the problem is still there. I tried resetting my ecu but guess what? still there. I am running out of ideas now, can anyone of you please help me? btw, this is on a 1994 integra rs. thanks in advance, i know someone out there will help me.

 

try to get a leakdown test on it

 

where can i get that? any more opinions? btw, the oil was changed along with the filter 1,000 miles ago.

 

yeah try a compression test too.

you could try using Seafoam and cleaning the engine out. do a search on google about it.
