So.. my girlfriend has been hogging the welder lately...
This is her first manifold.. I had her make it out of junk tubing so it didnt cost much and she gets some practice welding.. She still has the wastegate ports to do.. I think its turning out pretty damn good...
I kinda mocked up the 4inch DP while she was out...
Once its in the car.. all you will see....
She has only been welding for a couple of weeks. She has gone through a few bottles of argon and has made some pretty neat doodads around the shop.
Ill let you know how the manifold turns out.

Jason, Your just full of wonderful toy. You should keep an eye on you gf. I'm sure there will be tons of guys wanting her know she can make a turbo kit for them

its some 1 3/4 18ga crap.. She got mad when I told her it was a GTC style manifold... Guaranteed To Crack.. Once she gets the hang of welding and cutting Ill cut her loose on some 321..

Its NA right now until she gets this done... She is also sending a GSR block off to get sleeved... I dont think the stock LS will take much abuse from the T70 she is building the manifold for.

Also, did you guys know that at C&R, there is a girl there that welds some of teh radiators? She welded one of my buddy's radiator and the welds are so damn fine

whats actually interesting is that most women are better welders then men. In real production companies, they use women who are good at sewing and they become amazing welders. You will rarely see a man at a production welding plant. That manifold is just ******* cool regardless. So come clean, did she come up with the idea or did you?
