my del sol won't start : (
I have a '93 del Sol. Recently, the oil light came on, so I had the oil changed and all. Three days later, it won't start. It turns over and tries to start, but won't . My dad has looked at it and said he thinks it is the distributer. Others have said the fule system, the timing belt, or the oil sending unit. Any ideas?
On the passenger side underneth the glovebox and towards the door there is a plug...I believe it's green. It's behind the carpet. Take that and use a paperclip, bend it into a U shape and insert into each slot. Turn the ignition, not all the way like you are cranking the car, but enough so that accesories like windows can be used. Look at your check engine light. It will flash out the code for you. Short flashes are 1, long flashes are 10. It will repeat so just add it up and then look here to narrow down the problem. http://hybrid2.honda-perf.org/tech/codes.html Hope this helps you out.
Only do that if the "Check Engine" light is on (CEL). If not, you should replace your distributor rotor and cap and call it a day. It's almost 100% the distributor.

I checked that and it gave me one long flash. I went to the website and it said that the prob could be either a bad oxygen sensor A or the IAT sensor. I have never dealt with it before. Would either of these problems keep it from starting? Also, the oil light just recently started coming on.
