Suspension: Mild Drop, Smooth Ride Combos?
I am going to be buying shocks soon, and probably new springs or coilovers to replace what I have...
I was looking for only a 1 inch drop or so, what do you guys recommend for a good price? I have been seeing Tokico set ups for $400-500 or so, and that's kinda my price range right now. What do you guys think? Pics of your rides with a mild drop?

Go with H&R OEM springs if you'd only like to drop an inch. The ride is almost identical to stock. Then pair that with some KYB GR-2 replacement shocks, or some Tokico Blues if you want a little more performance, but a little stiffer ride.
I usually recommend H&R Sport springs, since the ride is very smooth, but the drop is more than you are looking for (2.25").

I achieved a 1" drop (actually a little more) with a set of used ITR springs. Good compromise of spring rate/comfort/drop. Match them up with your choice of performance shocks and you have a pretty decent spring/shock combo for very little $$$. I'm running them with Neuspeed Konis.
My bro-in-law has ITR spring/KYB AGX's on his Civic and it also is pretty comfy.
I would say if you want some level of adjustability and a decent 1" drop to go with the ITR spring/KYB AGX combo. It can be had for less than $500.

Here is mine with ITR springs on Koni Yellows.
The ride height is said to be about a half inch lower than stock but it seems a little lower than that to me.
I didn't measure the height difference because there was already aftermarket springs on the car.
The ride is great, the springs alone are a little stiffer than stock, but the adjustability of the Koni's increase the options.
Jake.

I'm not a big fan of the Eibach Pro-kit. I've seen alot of uneven drops, as well as many drops where the front is higher than the rear.
I agree with you guys on the ITR springs as a good buy too, alot of times you can find them for cheap in the Classified forum.

Here is my set-up...Comptech Sport springs with KYB AGX's (50 series tires). I love it. It basically rides like stock at 1, but is stiff as hell at 4.
I just put on some H&R OE Sport springs last week. They are about a 3/4 in. drop maybe a little more and they are stiffer than the ITR springs. It rides very much like stock and has way less body roll. Combined w/some koni's or some tokico shocks and it will be perfect. The KYB AGX shocks are adjustable if you wanted to get those and some OE Sport or ITR springs.
Thanks Everyone..
I was already planning to get Tokico Blues, and now it looks like the H&R OR Sport Springs or ITR are the way to go... for those of you that have em, where did you buy em (shocks and springs)?

for a little bit more, you can get the TEIN SS kit for around $800, nicer.. or Ground Control springs, everyone says they are hella good..

anything with koni yellows will give a ride as comfortable as stock. maybe a little stiffer, but that is to be expected with any aftermarket springs. but it wont be bouncy and ****. konis are awesome, and you can have them as stiff (or not stiff) as you want.

H&R Sports don't drop that much. They drop about and 1" or so in the back and about and close to an 1 1/2" in the front (gives fender-wheel gaps an even look). You must be thinking of H&R Race Springs
I've been H&R Sport Springs and Koni Adjustable shocks for almost a year now. ( Less than $700 shipped total).
The springs are just a little stiffer than stock. And with the Koni's set on soft, the ride is almost as smooth as stock. And with them set to stiff, the suspention tightns up nicely. So you can set it to stiff for fun and soft for long trips.
My only complaint is that the springs are a little too soft for performance, but if they where much stiffer and I probably wouldn't enjoy long roadtrips much at all. So it was a good comprimise over all. I think you'd like it.

No sir, I've had my H&R sports and Koni shocks for well over a year, and my car is definitely dropped at least 3". I checked the part number on the spring, and it is indeed the correct spring for my car. They have not sagged, either. It has been this low since day one. My front tires are sitting at about -2.3 deg. camber right now. Luckily I haven't needed a camber kit (35K miles since installing the springs) since I keep my alignment in check.
I love the way it looks, but the springs are too damn soft for it to be this low. In case you're wondering, my front Koni perches are on the stock TOP setting, yet it is still this low. The rear ones are on the lowest setting (so I could even it out more) and it's probably 3.5" lower in back (-2.0 camber in back).
I will be swapping these for GC's soon, with probably 350F/400R spring rates, I can't wait.
Here's how mine looks, again w/ H&R Sport springs (the dark metallic blue springs):

Patrick, you have H & R OE Sport Springs and they dropped your car 3"? Like I said I only want around 1"
