best engine to use?

Default best engine to use?

supposing i wanted to build an engine for daily use aswell as crazy **** drag racing what would you suggest? i have a 94 si with d16z6! i want big power with a turbo! any ideas???

A 2jzgte sounds like a good swap to me!

But seriously, it's all about how much you wanna spend. I don't really know much about engines, but I've heard that if you want big reliable turbo power then an LS motor from an early 90s Integra will do.

if it's only drag, I'd go with an h22. Should be reliable enough for your day to day driving. A B20 might also be good, there's more parts available for it I beleive.

Ls/turbo is a pretty cheap set-up that gives decent power.

Or go for H22 for the added power.

It just depends on the amount of money/work you want to put into it.
