itr intake manifold
i have an obd 0 b16a
i found a good deal on an usdm itr intake mainfold, and tbody, how much work is it going to be to get this in, any wiring issues that i should know about? what about the sensors that are on the itr intake
its coming off an 00 if that helps

OK, here is the skinny on this.
First, it bolts right in.
Second, you will need a 92+ civic or 94+ integra IACV.
The one in your B16 won't fit the ITR manifold.
it plugs right in w/o modifications to the wires.
third. You will need a 94+ integra fuel rail.
the reason is that the B16's fuel rail places the FPR right on top of the IAT sensor on the ITR manifold. The integra fuel rail moves the FPR so that it won't interfere with the sensor.
fourth, you will need to modify or fabricate an extension for the throttle cable bracket. it is on a different place in the ITR manifold. you can still use the throttle cable you already have.
you can use the B16 throttle body, but you will loose the cold idle air valve.
On the B16 it is located on the manifold. In the type R it is locatd on the throttle body. But don't worry, there are no plugs there so you will not get a check engine light.
Hope it helps.
EDIT:
I forgot you are getting the ITR throttle body as well. So forget what I said about the Throttle body. Btw, all the sensors in the ITR T/B work with the B16.
Just lenghten the MAP wires to work with the T/B mounted MAP sensor.

ok i dont wanna be a dick but i just did this and there are couple things i disagree with above.
first by cold idle air valve i think you mean fit which is on the obd-0 im, its on the del sol b16 throttle body and there is none on the type r.
second my iacv fit on the skunk2 manifold so i assume it fits type r too since it was made for a type r
i concurr with everything else he said though good luck
edit:
i just noticed his edit my bad

The thing with the IACV is the spacing on the mounting holes.
the first gen B16 uses the same IACV as the CRX/Civic Si (88-91)
the type R uses the same IACV as the EG/EK civic.
So if you are going from first gen B16 to type R you WILL need to change the IACV. We are talking OEM manifolds here.
