Hey everyone got a few questions hopefully someone has the answer. First off I am swapping a Jspec motor into my 95 Prelude SE, but the mechanic who go the motor got a 94 JDM 2.2L non-Vtec motor? I only heard of the 2.2L non-Vtec motor which would be a F22 or the h22 Vtec, can someone explain this to me, and also where could I purchase the JDM timing belt and water pump cause the USDM don't seem to go with this motor any help would be GREAT!!

 

I have installed both USDM timing belt, balancer belt, and water pump on a JDM H22.

 

That's weird the parts should be identical if there both h22a's I just changed out my motor with a JDM one and used my old water pump and belts. Maybe u have 2 different motors.

 

The motor you recieved is probably a JDM f22b, which is a DOHC 2.2L non-vtec engine very similar to the US H23.
