Well I just picked up a clean titled all stock 94 milano red GSR for next to nothing. My question is what kind of gas mileage are you guys getting to the tank. I just put new plugs and a cap and rotor in the car all OEM, however I'm only getting about 280 miles from full until the little gas light comes on. I was wondering if this normal.

Granted I've been using the A/C alot and testing out VTEC but in my CRX I get approx. 35-37 MPG. Am I comparing apples to apples or apples to oranges?

 

YOu are getting good mileage if you get 280 miles.

 

that sounds about right. I get 18-24mpg city and 24-34mpg freeway. gotta love the crx ~40mpg

 

I get about 320 miles per tank... some people get more. From the first gas empty light, you will probably get another 30-60 miles.

yea, 280 is about right, and if u dun drive the car hard, u can get about 3 hundred sumthin miles, the highest i ever got 2 the tank was 315.

 

Is this because the gearing in the tranny? I can't believe there such a big difference between my CRX and the GSR. CRX=35-37 MPG

I still have the original window sticker that the original owner gave me that I'm pretty sure says 26city 31Hwy.

 

with use of ac and hitting the vtec on occasion that sounds about right for your mileage.

 

i can get about 300-320 before i see the light, after that i can get about 60-80 miles out of it

280 is good for city driving if you're beating on it and using A/C and all. I can usually get 315-330 in the city but by that time the gas light has been on for awhile heh.

100% highway driving I have gotten as high as 380 miles on a tank. My best MPG to date is ~36, which was 300 miles on ~8 gallons.

 

You should be happy with 280 miles... It's not BAD gas mileage... and certianly better than my RX-7 which goes 165mi, and burns 13.5 gallons (premium) between fill-ups....

 

My 94 also does 270/280miles before the light comes on, then i usually do about 30 miles before i fill up again, so your figure sounds just right. BTW i once got 46mpg when i done a 280 mile round trip with a busted radiator and kept it below 55mph the whole way and only hit vtec maybe 2 or 3 times!!!

thats about what I get too

 

i get atleast 300 miles per fill up. usually light just coming on. not all free ways mileage either.
