Default how much would it be???

so how much should a basic engine swap cost?? im talking about the labor alone AND i am not talking about some fancy engine work, more like a "simple" straight in swap.

$500.00 from an experienced mechanic at his house.

$800.00-$1,100.00 from a reputable shop.

Theses are broad ranges, but they are the average around here in Atlanta from everything I've seen.

Yuh same here.....my friend dropped his car off at a shop here in Miami (not gonna mention any names pm if u really want to know) and they fixed some things wrong on his motor. When he got the car back, it had no oil, no coolant, no tranny oil and he drove it a good 35 miles home and the car turned off. luckily the car didnt blow up.

But he hit it right on the nose for the prices people will charge.

i realy couldn't see a shop making enough money to survive on a price like that, dont get me wrong, its a good price. i would say that 800-1000 would be right on the money for the shop to make a good profit. on the other hand i'll do a b-series in a eg for 400.00, this is on my own time

we charge $800+ depending on the swap.

$800 for all B-Series to EF/EG/EK as long as the customer has all the nessesary parts.
H22 is a little more, K20 = Duh $$$
