I have factory radiator on a gredy kit with a decent front mount from PWR....
I have my one cooling fan but I m bout to put a thin fan back in for the a/c condensor.....
I think I should change from the stock radiator to like Fluidyne or PWR......has anyone had success using a 92-95 civics radiator aftermarket or factory.... has potential to be a good space saver.... pls let me know.

well my turbo blew so I haven't been running the crx turbocharged yet. I have a starion front mount IC and I have noticed that with the stock radiator things run a bit hotter in the engine bay due to the obstruction of the IC over the stock radiator. It would be nice to use the 92-95 civic radiator but i heard that installation requires some fabrication of the bottom radiator mounts.
I like my C&R racing radiator. It comes witha spal fan. It does a great job. I also upgraded to a mugen fan switch and mugen thermostat. It keeps my motor really cool. I think C&R is the best bang for the buck and it
s a great radiator. All the STR drag cars use them. It's also the only one that comes with a fan.

My car is not turbo but I can tell you the Koyo racing radiator is awesome. I have one and I've run it at NASA HPDE events in 100' weather and the temp never exceeds 160'. I run the CRX model which is 2.5" think and my be a clearance issue for you turbo setup.
Running a C&R from a GSR with a Spal fan. Works pretty well, but when stop and go traffic starts the ****** doesn't come on until 210deg F. That's hot in my eyes.
well i ordered the C&R half size radiator for my 91 hatchback, i thought that when C&R made a half size, they would be smart enough to place the radiator to one side, BUT when i went to put it in... i realized that it sits directly in the MIDDLE..not to one side, but ... yes the MIDDLE. There is no way that the radiator would fit (even with the fan on the other side) because of my compressor housing. SOO.. i got the C&R radiator for a 92-95. (i have a place racing crossmember).. The 92-95 radiator fit.. AFTER i cut off one of the tabs where the original radiator sat on AND put the fan on the other side.
by the way.. my set up is b series with a drag gen 3 kit.
In my opinion i would stick with the stock radiator. My car NEVER overheated once with the stock radiator. The only reason why i got the C&R radiator is because my stock radiator formed itself a hole and started leaking.. otherwise i was fine with the stock radiator.
stock radiator owns... IMO.

Stock radiator in my car... Fits fine. And I've got about the biggest turbo/engine setup besides an H series that you'd wanna put in an ED.
SC34 (same size externally as a SC61/60-1 turbo) attached to a B series engine. I don't use a tubular manifold, but that's jsut like suicide in an ED engine bay.

I run a water/air intercooler... I only got rid of the a/c condenser and lines to save weight because with the 3" downpipe, A/C was out of the question.
I'm running an 86 VW scirrico radiator. Its what Street Rodders use and is available through jegs or from http://www.performanceradiator.com all I did was drill 2 holes in the bottom for the legs and you have to use a filler neck 26 bucks from jegs. The radiator is all aluminum and with a slim fan cools well.
Here is a look.

I just picked up a 92-00 (not sure what year) civic half radiator for $20, it's single core, but for $20 I thought it was a good deal. I'm going to try to get it to fit w/ the stock crossmember and hopefully it'll be able to cool well. If I have no radiator over by the exhaust for the turbo, that'll relieve a ton of headaches.
I'm not Turbo but I'm running a CSF Dual Core Radiator along with a low temp thermostat...
...has a pretty good amount of room between it and the header so a turbo might fit with it in.

It's not too low, and I RARELY scrape because of that. I'm about to drop it again once it hits the road again. Hopefully I'll be able to tuck a little tire.

woo hoo. mark someone else down for the oem csf radiator! i got mine new for like 112 shipped, only b/c my plastic top melted....
