V-afc wirring diagram
Iam looking to instal a apexi v-afc. None of the wire diagrams in the manual that came with the v-afc match mine. I have 1990 civic with a 1995 d16z6. However, iam still using the stock d16a6 ecu. Does anyone know what wire to hook up where for this particular setup? Thanks
I assume you are using your stock dizzy also, since you are retaining your PM6 OBD0 ecu?
I say you should get one of Jason's OBD0 to OBD1 conversion harnesses, use the stock D16z6 OBD1 dizzy and ECU. And let the OBD1 P28 ecu control the fuel maps and Vtec MADE for that engine.
It will run better than running that motor using the older OBD0 electronics and having the V-afc control the Vtec.
Honda did their homework. That engine will run best with the ECU and electronics it was designed for.
Make sure you use the appropriate injectors if you want to retain the injector resistor box.
