Default What kinda of motor should I buy?????

My future plans are to put a DOHC motor into my 92 CX well im not sure on what to do. I was thinking that b16a would be cheap and i could go turbo, but i dont think i could make much power if i do all motor with the b16a, or i could get a b18c1 or b18c5 and do all motor...Im just not sure what to do. And i was thinkin about Ls-vtec becuase a b18a motor would be a lot cheaper....Tell me all your thoughts...

Well if money isn't going to be a problem, then go all out and get a B18C5. Why not right? But if you are on budget, then get a LS motor. They are cheaper, the swap is easy to do, and it leaves some options open for you. You could turbocharge it or go LS/VTEC. But, this is just my opinion.

Now if you plan on expanding on your motor more in the future when you get some more cash, I would say buy the B16. If you want to do the LS/VTEC swap then basically all you are doing is buying a VTEC swap and putting an LS bottom end on it. I just wanted you to understand that, you need the VTEC swap to do a correct LS/VTEC in your car, not an LS swap and VTEC head.
